   The purpose of the Before, After and Summer Enrichment Program is to provide safe, quality, affordable child-care in the school setting. The BASE program provides experiences that are conductive to academic, social, and physical development of children. These self-supporting programs are offered to all children attending Westview Elementary School. We utilize the gym and computer lab and are located out of the cafeteria. Other activities include, but are not limited to: homework time, Everyday Math, reading and writing, arts, crafts, science, sports, movies, board games and free time, and occasional fieldtrips on full days.   A typical day in BASE looks like this: 

2:30-2:45

Attendance
2:45-3:15 Healthy snack
3:15-3:45 Recess
3:45-4:15 Homework or fun everyday math game or literacy
4:15 – 5:30 Choice of gym, computers, science, edible art, craft or art (children are given at least 2 choices each day)
5:30 – 6:00 Free time

Before School Program:  6:30 am – 7:45 am

After School Program: 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm
Half day: 10:45 am – 6:00 pm Early Release Wednesday: 1:15 pm – 6:00 pm
Full Day:  6:30 am – 6:00 pm

Half days and full days are included in weekly tuition.

The Westiview BASE program is licensed by the Colorado Department of Human Services, and adheres to state and school policies and procedures. Parents pay BASE tuition costs. Adams County Department of Social Services may provide financial assistance to thsoe who qualify (CCAP).
