PSP Board

President – Jenny Schott (Proud Parent)
Hi, I have been in the PSP board for the past 4 years. I have 3 kids, 2 boys ages 11 and 7 and a daughter age 3. My oldest just started middle school but he went to Westview from kindergarten through fifth grade and my middle son is in second grade.  I have a degree in marketing and a certification in event management and all the events and activities we do is what I love. It has been an amazing 4 years on the board. I love the smiles on the students faces during the events and that’s why I love doing these events.

Vice President – Cheryl Nelson (Dedicated PE Teacher)
I am a physical education teacher.  Besides teaching I am involved with my church and the many activities we do to serve the community.  I started my first teaching job in 1979, I've taught all grade levels, preschool through high school.  I was an assistant principal for 12 years in Adams 12. I've been teaching PE for 4 years at Westview.  I love being involved to help support the kids in any way that I can. I am grateful to have the chance to serve the Westview community and I love the kiddos.

Secretary – Terri Harris (Proud Grand Parent)
I am the grandmother of 2 children who attend Westview (Jorell in 4th grade and Ai’yana in 2nd grade!).  My daughter and I are raising them together - they live in a 2 parent home that way!  I love Westview school - the parents, the teachers and the staff have all been a positive factor in our family life!  I volunteer on the board because I want to do whatever I can to keep Westview a good place for families.  I volunteered at the schools my children attended back in the 80’s and 90’s and I really believe that each parent volunteer makes a difference for ALL the children!

Treasurer – Sherylin Daggy (Proud Parent)
Hello, my husband and I have 3 boys, ages 3, 5 and 7. Having grown up in a home where my parents were actively involved in my education, I know the importance of being an involved parent. Working within the PSP, I am able to be part of a team giving back to our school that benefits our students' experiences as well as teacher's needs. I know that being involved is also different for every parent and every family. Since joining the Westview community, I have seen the littlest efforts add up to some great things. I look forward to another eventful school year and thank you for all that you do!
