REMOTE LEARNING FOR ELD
Students who have another language spoken in their homes are eligible for testing and placement in the English Language Development (ELD) program at Westview. Our focus in ELD class is on the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing through the ELD Units of Study. In addition, we also focus on specific grammar points and academic vocabulary within each unit. Our curriculum will also include Wonders for ELL, a learning platform that can be used for remote, in-person or hybrid instruction.
