Students are provided with educational opportunities based on their interest and strengths. Within the curriculum there are many opportunities for students to show advanced work on a regular basis.

At the beginning of the school year students are given a survey to help them identify their interests and needs. With parents' input, students are given opportunities to do projects based on their interests. These opportunities are supported by the classroom teacher with the support of the GT coordinator and coaches.
Social-Emotional Learning: “The Destination”

Westview provides all students with social and emotional learning weekly in the classroom with the support of a SEL coach. In addition to those lessons, we do have additional resources to specifically support our gifted and talented students.
