The year is flying by as we quickly approach the 100th day of school and a lot is going on in the library! Our spring book fair is right around the corner and will be back during Parent Teacher Conferences. The days and times are February 11th and 12th (7:30am-3:00pm), February 13th (2:00pm-7:20pm) and February 14th (1:00pm-7:20pm). This is a great time to stop by pick up books to support your student’s reading and our library!
We are also hosting our first Westview STEM club meeting on February 5th from 2:30pm-3:30pm. This will be a fun opportunity to explore science, technology, robotics and more! All are welcome and encouraged to come but space is limited. A light snack will be provided.
We are busy preparing our students for our upcoming online testing. Students are working on important technology skills and tools such as keyboarduing, drag and drop, highlighting, copying and pasting and much more! Any practice you can provide for your students at home in these skills will help them to be successful! Keyboarding is critical and there are various sites online for students to practice this skill available from the Westview website.
