Please sign up for Quarter 2 clubs below. Quarter 2 clubs will meet from 2:35-3:35pm from the weeks of 11/3-12/12. Please look at the individual club to see what day of the week it meets.

Thursdays- (11/6, 11/20, 12/4, 12/11) 4th-5th Grade-Students will have the opportunity to learn more about teamwork and community while learning about different sports.

Board Game/Cards Club-sign ups are now closed for this club for Q2

Led by Mrs. Mills

Thursdays (11/6,11/20,12/4, 12/11)  3rd-5th Grade-Students can enjoy good ole' fashioned board and card games. No screens allowed! Games can be brought from home by students, and I will be introducing new games for students to learn as well.

Cooking Club-this club is now full

Led by Mrs. Lage and Mrs. Spalding 

Thursdays (11/6,11/20,12/4, 12/11)  2nd Grade-Students will have the opportunity to cook food using microwaves, griddles, burners, and toaster ovens. They will advance their reading and math skills in reading recipes and learning how to m easure out amounts of ingredients. Students will have a chance to connect with others while learning valuable life skills safely.

Wednesdays (11/5,11/12,11/19,12/3,12/10)  3-5th grade-Students will be building LEGO challenges created with STEM themes. Students will work on teamwork while using creativity to complete their weekly challenge.

Spelling Bee-sign ups are now closed for this club for Q2

Tuesdays (11/4, 11/11, 11/18, 12/2, 12/9)  3rd-5th Grade-Students will learn about different spelling strategies. We will practice the procedures of how to be in a spelling bee. We will also be having a school spelling bee where all members of the spelling bee club get to show their skills.

Westview Choir

Led by Ms. DeYoung

Tuesdays and Thursdays (11/4, 11/6, 11/11, 11/18, 11/20, 12/2, 12/4, 12/9, 12/11, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12 Performance on 2/12)  3rd-5th Grade-Students will learn musical pieces together and will learn about singing together as a group. Students will have a performance in February.

Battle of the Books-Teachers will pass out permission slips at school for this club.

Led by Ms. Grossmann and Mrs. Spalding

Wednesdays (10/22, 11/5, 11/19, 12/3, 12/17, 1/7, 1/21. 1/28, 2/4, 2/18, 2/25, 3/4, 3/11, 3/18, 4/1, 4/8, 4/15, 4/22)  4th-5th Grade-Students gather to read and analyze a set of books. At the end of the year, we will go to the district and battle other schools.
