I have been teaching English Language Development since 2003. I joined the Westview staff in 2010, after beginning my career teaching students from all over the world in Brooklyn, NY. My Bachelor of Arts degree in English is from the University of Southern Mississippi and my Master of Arts degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages is from Hunter College in New York City. A few things that I enjoy about being an ELD teacher are working with students from diverse backgrounds to help them achieve their English language goals, and witnessing students' growth as they progress through the grade levels. I'm proud to be a Westview Wildcat because we have amazing students that are kind, respectful and eager to learn, and because of our caring community. When I’m not teaching, I like traveling, reading, cycling and camping with my husband, Evan.
