I am thrilled to serve the Westview community as your new Assistant Principal. My mission as an educator is to foster an environment where students thrive socially, emotionally and academically. I am looking forward to working alongside Ms. Frankenfeld and the Westview students, family and staff to ensure that our goal of continuous learning, growth and improvement is realized each and every day.
In my 19 years of experience in education, I have served as a classroom teacher in 1st through 5th grade and as an Instructional Coach for Adams 12. I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Interdivisional Studies from Regis University, a Master's Degree in Teaching, Learning and Technology from Point Loma Nazarene University and my Administrative Certification in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Denver.
I grew up in Limon, CO and moved to California with my husband in 2001. We made the decision to return to Colorado in 2015 and I am so happy we did! We have 2 wonderful children, ages 12 and 14, who keep us very busy with sports and school activities. In our free time we enjoy playing golf, waterskiing, snow skiing, and loving on our furry friends (two dogs and a cat).
I am honored to be a part of the Westview community and will work hard to make sure that the 2020-2021 school year is a successful one!
