I am honored and excited to be the principal at Westview Elementary. I believe that every student deserves to have a positive educational experience and enjoy working with students, families, and staff to help achieve our mission of always learning, growing, and improving together.
My educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Kansas State University, a Master’s Degree in Literacy from Lesley University, and an Educational Specialist’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Northern Colorado. I began working in the Adams 12 school district in 2000 and have experience as a Kindergarten teacher, Second Grade teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal.
I am originally from Kansas, but have lived in Colorado since 1998. I am married and have two children. My son and daughter were Adams 12 students. They both graduated from Mountain Range High School and have earned degrees from Colorado State University. Some of our best family memories revolve around my children’s school events and experiences. I look forward to helping Westview students and families build their special school memories.
I believe that I have one of the best jobs and love coming to work everyday. I am thankful for having the opportunity to work with such an amazing school community such as Westview. Please don’t hesitate to call or email me with comments, questions, celebrations or concerns.
I am proud to be a Westview Wildcat because the staff prioritizes building relationships with their students and work hard to help ALL student grow and achieve!
