Hello!
I have been working with kids in a non-formal setting since 2010, starting when I was a teenager in high school. I spent a lot of time volunteering in my little brother's classrooms and working in schools whenever I could. During college, I had the opportunity to work in a preschool, which was so fun, but I realized my passion was teaching older kids. I graduated from MSU Denver in May 2019 with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a focus on psychology. After that, I had a position teach fifthing grade at a school in Jefferson County. I'm excited to be a part of Westview now and continuing to teach fifth grade while learning with your wonderful students!
When I am not working, you are likely to find me curled up with my cat, Tessa, and reading a good book! I also enjoy crocheting, photography, and playing games or hiking with friends and family.
I am a lifelong learner and love to collaborate so having the chance to work at Westview is wonderful. I'm so proud to be a part of the community that is learning, growing, and improving together!
